Gli Heroes Die Too (inizialmente chiamatisi Bonfire) prendono forma nell’estate 2008 dall’idea iniziale di Randaz (basso e voce), Anto (chitarra e voce) e Fiore (batteria) di dare vita a una tribute band dei NOFX. Nei mesi successivi, dopo un paio di esperimenti, viene assunto a tempo pieno come chitarrista solista Sanchez, già attivo anche con numerosi gruppi della scena udinese (Brainsunset, Stray, Shade solo per citarne alcuni). In breve il gruppo cambia direzione, puntando sulla composizione di pezzi propri, ispirati perlopiù all’hardcore melodico di gruppi come A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, Belvedere e Lagwagon. I membri del gruppo sentono quindi la necessità di una voce solista, per potersi concentrare maggiormente sul proprio strumento: fa così il suo ingresso nella line-up Red, che sin dalle prime prove entra in sintonia con la band e diventa a tutti gli effetti il vocalist ufficiale. In pochi mesi prendono forma diversi pezzi, cinque dei quali vengono registrati e inseriti in un demo split coi Brainsunset. __________________________________________________________________ Heroes Die Too (formerly Bonfire) are born in summer 2008, from the initial idea by Randaz (bass and vocals), Anto (guitar and vocals) and Fiore (drums) of giving life to a NOFX tribute band. In the following months, after a couple tries, Sanchez, already active with several Udine area bands, becomes Bonfire's full time solo guitarist. In a short time the band changes direction and starts to write its own songs, inspired by melodic harcore bands such as A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, Belvedere and Lagwagon. From this moment the members of the band feel the urge for a lead vocalist, in order to focus more on each instrument: it's now that Red enters the line-up, mixing perfectly with Bonfire's sound (and people) since the first reharsals, becoming after a short time the official lead singer. In a few months several songs are written, and amongst these five are recorded and put into a demo split with Brainsunset.
