Già nei primi anni 1990, Luca Ascari e Andrea Soru erano artefici del progetto musicale chiamato " Segura Coisa " una ricerca nelle sonorita' tribali brasiliane del nord est con brani dal filo condutore percussivo a cui venivano abbinate influenze dub reggae e qualche richiamo verso il Rock..Ascari e Soru eano la parte creativa della band appunto interpretando la loro ricerca dalla musica originaria per portarla ad una versione piu' popolare .La miglior espressione artistica della formazione, erano le performance dal vivo dove spesso si presentavano con la partecipazione di ulteriori musicisti come ospiti dei loro tour .Eccellente presenza interpretativa era Maruka Rodriguez vocalist brasiliana gia' riconosciuta in patria .Verso la fine del 1997 la formazione si scioglie, Ascari e Soru prendono strade differenti. Verso la fine del 2000 dopo esperienze singole Ascari nel campo Jungle elettronica drum & bass con richiami alla world music ,Soru con progetti sia ambientali che verso la musica Rock arricchiti da suggestioni tribali. Decidono di dar vita a Double 6 Project..un viaggio elettronico ambientale nel mondo della real world con sempre il timbro della loro ricerca verso sonorita' tribali. Agli inzi 2009 pubblicano sotto licenza Creative Common il loro primo album DOUBLE 6 PROJECT..un work in progress album dove alla la loro ricerca sulle sonorita ' tribe a lungo raggio miscelano le nuove tendenze della musica elettronica e ambientale...L'album si conclude a fine del 2009 con l'uscita di DOUBLE 6 PROJECT SPECIAL EDITION...dove in JAMENDO e altri siti di pubblicazione la critica li inserice tra le migliori band italiane nel campo della chillout world ambient music. Anche e a livello mondiale si inseriscono tra le formazioni piu' conosciute del genere. A consolidare la loro impronta ,esce agli inizi del 2010 "LOVELY " dove Ascari e Soru si riconfermano con ottimi consensi sul panorama internazionale. La critica recensisce il loro podotto come musica da ascoltare con la mente, il corpo le orecchie e l'anima..Attualmente stanno lavorando su un opera concept album su linee dodecafoniche ,progressive e free jazz insieme alla vocalist Stefania Lapertosa (presente in Joy Music Live) Progetto ambizioso che presenteranno alla fine del 2011.
